The 2 tests of this series will be part of WTC 2025. After the final of WTC 2023, there has been a lot of change in the Test team. Pujara did not get a place in the squad. Shami has been given rest. Ajinkya Rahane was again made the vice-captain and Yashashvi got a place in the Test team.
